*A**t least 8+ years working in P&C industry – specifically on Policy Admin & Claims.* *End to End Claims implementation experience is a MUST HAVE.* *Role Description:* The role of a Business Analyst is to serve as a cornerstone with our clients and blend their insurance domain knowledge with a thorough understanding of the client software solutions. The business analyst will be a key liaison between the insurance carrier and the client software development teams. In addition to the opportunity to travel, this fast paced position will present you with the challenge to constantly learn, increase your skills, and unlimited advancement opportunities. *Absolute Must Have:* · Experience in multiple insurance disciplines, such as underwriting, claims, pricing, financial/billing, insurance business systems & design, statistical reporting, and regulatory operations · Experience using STG Suite® or maintenance of another insurance software product *Necessary skills:* · College degree and/or applicable business experience · Experience in P&C insurance, 5 years at least · Consultative, customer-oriented · Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word · Strong analytical and problem solving abilities · Strong interpersonal and communication skills · Confidence in facilitating client issues · Ability to work independently; highly motivated self-starter · Ability to think creatively · Attention to detail · Thrive in a team environment · Dedicated to quality, flexibility · Highly focused · Able to travel (up to 100% depending on project) · Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn *Responsibilities:* · Assist clients in effectively gathering business requirements · Understand and analyze client’s documentation, identifying implications, issues, and risks · Develop business rating requirements documentation from client specifications · Ability to analyze and evaluate existing and/or proposed insurance systems · Analyze underwriting, claims and rating manuals to determine rating similarities and differences across states · Work with senior resources to support development of their core insurance software solution and business process · Create visual design diagrams for all audiences · Use the STG Rating Engine solution to implement client rating solutions, including the coding and testing of formulas and tables · Develop test plans & participate in the testing process to ensure high quality project deliverables · Review test cases created by the client · Interact with other team members and clients to ensure quality solution · Enter policy level test cases and debug results files to produce high-quality solutions · Communicate with the client to track and debug testing issues, resolve them, and perform regression testing. · Potentially act as a mentor to colleagues and the client · Support development of detailed requirements and functional design documents that can be referenced by global delivery staff, respond to their questions, and reconcile the functionality of their deliverables to these documents.
