IDMS DBA Duration: 6 months minimum
LA, California Rate: 55/Hr Inc · 3-5 years experience with IDMS, should be well versed with all housekeeping tasks and management of those structures · IDMSBCF batch utility is used for various DBA functions, e.g. Database backup and restores, database restructures, data unload and reloads, initializing areas, index rebuilding · Online database changes are made using the SCHEMA task. Use IDMSCHEM batch utility to make database changes. · DCMT command privileges are configured using the CTABGEN utility · OCF task to give DCMT privileges to users.
