The role is responsible for analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, documentation and support of SharePoint and .NET solutions in the AmeriGas environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Design, develop, test and document .NET programs using visual studio 2008/2010. Design, develop, test and document SharePoint solutions. Ensure proper coding standards and for large design create Enterprise Architect diagrams and documentation. Utilize Source Control (TFS) to manage code branches, changes and comments to ensure proper SOX compliance. Ability to research, design and develop technically complex application solutions. Ability to manage multiple tasks with little direction. Ability to resolve complex problems with imaginative solutions and mentor others on solving difficult problems. Quick learner that stays current on industry trends, certifications, languages, etc. Actively seeks out ways to improve processes and increase efficiency in respective area. Ability to drive objectives and goals through peer mentoring over and beyond existing team objectives and goals. Ability to lead large organizational initiatives and drive organization. Evaluate and implement application solutions and services. Provide expert technical guidance to peers and customers. Assist in business results driven solutions by ensuring quality, reliability and usability. Actively assist in testing development and advanced support for specific application areas. Maintain knowledge of existing and learn new application areas. Act as a technical liaison between infrastructure and other areas of IT to assist in creating collaborative and fully integrated solutions.
