Position: QA Lead Location: Mount Laurel, NJ Duration: 6 Months Must have skills: Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) Accreditation Yes Cetified Software Tester (CSTE) accreditation Yes PMLC (Project Management Life Cycle) * 6+ Yrs. Prior experience w/ development of test cases * 6+ Yrs. QC Defect tracking / Defect Management experience * 6+ Yrs. Quality Center * 6+ Yrs. SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) * 6+ Yrs Overview: The Test Lead will manage/lead a team of testing resources in delivering a broad range of Quality Assurance services and solutions. They will utilize quality standards and practices for the project that meet enterprise guidelines and support Project Management & Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) activities including: . Defining the project testing profile . Assessing testing risk and developing mitigation strategies . Establish test and testing requirements for the project . Define test environments and Entry/Exit criteria to support timely and quality product releases . Interface closely with development and operations groups in support of software & production releases . Coordinate and manage Quality Assurance testing, including creation of test strategy/test plan/test scripts - Develop test schedule for all phases of testing - Provide test status report on progress, defects and issues related to testing - Interfaces with line of business to ensure quality of system meet business expectations - Provides guidance to technology and line of business regarding testing - Participates in requirement and design activities to gain strong understanding of application to be developed - Coordinates with other application teams for end to end testing - Provides estimates to project manager on costs/resources/timeline relating to testing - Ensure testing follows TD Bank's methodology - Ensure all testing artifacts/evidence are stored in a secure repository - Manage a team of testers Skills Sought: . Advanced knowledge & experience in Quality Center . Prior Experience in Retail Banking/Finance environment strongly preferred . Advanced Excel & Work skills is a plus (e.g.: ability to create 'macros' & 'compares') . Sound understanding and knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) & Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) . Strong knowledge of testing and software development practices and methodologies, version control practices and defect management practices . Ability to develop and design effective Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Status Report, Defect Reports and Traceability Matrix . Oversee test activities for projects with increasing degree of complexity within and/or across lines of business. . Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) accreditation preferred but not required . Strong communications and management skills. Ability to work collaboratively with members, at all levels, of various teams and/clients (including vendors) . Excellent communication/leadership skills . Experience in mobile technology is desired IMP: . All submissions must be accompanied by a RTR that is signed and dated by the candidate.
