Please send me your Updated Resumes to fe...@canoesys.com * * *Title: Informatica SME/Architect* *Location : Houston TX* *Duration : 6+ months* *Responsibilities:* § Define standards and implement INFORMATICA best practices to manage and support the ETL environment. § Define migration Best Practices for INFORMATICA ETL code by using team based versioning, using Deployment Groups, Push-down optimization techniques and MD5 change data capture. § Documents detailed business requirements for developing specifications for data sources, executes Proof of Concept/Demo s for WMB teams. § Advocates and encourages use of INFORMATICA ETL within WMB. § Design new integrations using Informatica Designer, Workflow and UNIX scripting. § Key Contributor to data warehouse team defining strategy; selecting tools and techniques, including middleware, data cleansing tools, and/or data management systems to provide the solution to data and client issues and other matters of significance and to meet business needs. § Provides Tier 3 Support and engages vendor support as needed. § Define INFORMATICA support processes and mentor team members within an onsite/offsite resource model § Oversee the optimal health of ETL performance including but not limited to server parameters tuning, ETL code issues, optimal design suggestions etc. § Consults with SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER on technology plans, upgrades, licensing and support costs. *Qualifications/Requirements:* § Strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, and communication skills. § Effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve. § Solid experience with database design and modeling structures § Application knowledge aiding in the understanding, development, and testing of underlying data sources. § Minimum 5 years of industry experience with an emphasis on INFORMATICA and ETL best practices § 3+ years of experience in implementing, maintaining and supporting INFORMATICA in a 24x7 operational model § 3+ years of experience in managing and supporting business critical applications, on-call support and working with virtual teams § 3+ years of experience in Development ETL programs using INFORMATICA PowerMart/PowerCenter in Unix and Oracle environment. § 3+ years of experience in development using SQL, and Unix scripting Languages § Certified INFORMATICA Administrator Certified INFORMATICA Developer -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP ABAP" group.
