*Duration: 6-9 Months** * *Job Description*: Our immediate need is for a Senior Sybase Database Administrator to join the Database Administration Group. The successful candidate will focus on production support, performance and tuning, design, deployment, and day-to-day support of Sybase ASE and Sybase IQ. The Senior Database Administrator will be responsible for identifying database problems and proposing and deploying solutions. The candidate should be motivated, hands-on, able to work well under pressure, possess strong problem analysis, troubleshooting, and performance and tuning skills. Good verbal and communications skills are essential. Extensive experience with Sybase performance and tuning is also required. On occasion, the chosen applicant may be required to provide DB2 LUW and MySQL support.
