Required Experience - Mandatory Experience in insurance or financial services systems development including in the design of component- and/or service-based systems/applications. Experience in designing, developing, and testing systems/services using J2EE/JEE architecture – WebSphere Application Server or similar application server technology, including servlets, JSP, EJB, JMS. Experience in designing, developing, and testing systems/applications using service-oriented architectures – WebSphere Process Server, WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus, Mediation Modules, BPEL. Development Tools – IBM Rational Application Developer (RAD), Rational Software Architect (RSA), WebSphere Integration Developer (WID). Ability to interact with multiple projects concurrently. Ability to lead technology evaluation efforts, including the definition of the evaluation criteria, identification of technologies to be evaluated, and the actual evaluation. Ability to engage with project teams in a leadership role, advocating on behalf of architectural principles and standards, and making compromises where appropriate.
