Sr. Cobol Developer with Java and or .NET 2 openings 7 mo contract Face to face interview 7 month contract Atlanta, GA Sr. COBOL Developer *Required Skills:* COBOL - 5 years XML 2 years HTML 2 years .Net Java *Job Description:* Perform and/or lead software development and support tasks as part of the development team. Participate and/or lead requirements analysis, engineering sizings, object oriented analysis/design/implementations. Be able to create and articulate design/implementation options and tradeoffs to peers, tech leads, and management. Promote and use "Best Practices" for software development. Ability to work in teams. Consults with clients and other project team members to design, build and manage web sites or business systems. Develops installation programs for websites or business systems. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and 3-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field (i.e., SQL, C++, HTML, CGI and JavaScript). Strong COBOL knowledge/skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
