*Greetings,* *Hope you are doing Well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!* *Please forward a profiles to **shan...@techconsultinc.com* <shan...@techconsultinc.com> *Here are the requirement details* -- *Golden Valley, MN* * Test Automation Engineer X2 8-9 mo contract to 12/31/16* *Job Purpose/Role* The Test Automation engineer will be part of the QA Automation Test team comprised of full time and vendor resources and serve towards implementing the Automation roadmap towards developing a robust regression suite for different products across the enterprise. *Key Responsibilities* - Analyze current suite of applications and focus on developing the applications assigned to this role for automation design, development and maintenance. - Adhere to the standards with respect to tools, framework, scripting and versioning techniques as directed by Automation Architect and Technical QA Manager. - Help with Automation requirements, test data requirements and documentation of technical limitations pertaining to applications under test. - Lead automation test case design and code coverage reviews. - Contribute in building a robust regression suite at enterprise level based on a solid automation framework. - Work with onsite and offshore vendor resources in creating and automating reusable business-level tests that are easy to maintain even when underlying feature changes. - Work closely with developers and capability managers to understand new features to automate their testing in multiple platforms. - Develop Verification Strategy across different Products in the Suite. - Work with functional QA Leads, development leads and UAT leads to help getting them familiarized with the developed scripts, utilization and troubleshooting aspect. - Raise the quality of the product by providing complete, quick, reliable, and easy to interpret script results and dashboard reports. - Help building and maintaining automation lab onsite. - Work with tool vendors in troubleshooting compatibility issues. - Provide weekly status, work estimates and forecasts to the Automation Architect and QA Leads. *Key Requirements/Skills/Experience* Experience: - 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering Development with focus on Quality Assurance testing and Automation Testing. - Has in-depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies. - Experience in design and development of Automation frameworks and Automation Testing Strategies. - Solid experience with automation frameworks/tools (Not limited to QTP, UFT and Selenium) and continuous integration systems. - Expert level experience in one or more scripting languages and/or programming languages like VB, Perl, TCL and Python. - Experience with web services and APIs and understanding of automated testing for web based API. - Demonstrated expertise with XML and related tools and technologies. - Good understanding of QA methodology – test plans, test cycles, and software releases. - Solid understanding QA/Test Automation Best Practices. - Strong Knowledge of current industry wide Quality & Test processes and practices, Tools and techniques. - Excellent analytical, debugging, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with outstanding attention to detail - Passionate about pushing the envelope on current technologies and motivating others to adopt new development and testing methodologies. Education: - MS in Computer Science or equivalent. - CSTE/CSQA certifications preferred. - QTP/UFT or related automation tool Certification preferred.
