Title: Usability (UI/UX) Developer Location: Irving, TX (Las Colinas area) Duration: 1 year contract Description: This position is for a Developer who has previous experience focused on Usability Design. The skills for this opportunity will span multiple disciplines across the UI/UX field. Consultant should have a mixture of skills that are normally found across user experience architects, user interface designers, usability analysts, and front-end developers. Skills: 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in user interface design, human factors and usability engineering, where at least three years of experience has been applying these skills to the design and development of web-based systems. Proficient in developing information architecture, workflow/interaction diagrams, screen mockups, wireframes and prototypes for web based applications Must demonstrate interface design ability with measurable results. HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, CSS-P, Photoshop, and cross-browser compatibility are required; AJAX, Flash, Flex, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and Visio are a plus; experience with GUI/script libraries such as prototype.js, YUI, or jQuery a big plus. Experience and proficiency with rapid prototyping: must not have a reliance on GUI prototyping software though they may be used.
