Works to provide quality solutions that meet specific business unit requirements using business and technical knowledge to help prevent defects. Possesses solid knowledge of the core technologies, platforms, tools and applications used in delivering business solutions for the business units supported. Demonstrates an awareness and understanding of changes in technology and their impact to core business applications. Articulates technical application infrastructure strategies and their impact on automated systems to IS&T staff. Is proactive in providing transfer of knowledge regarding technical application infrastructure to IS&T team. Supports existing technical application infrastructure. SUPERVISION: Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
