Client will hire over the phone. *Title: Senior SQL Server Architect* *Skills:* - Must have Excellent Oral and Written communication skills. - Must have Lead Architect design experience - Must be able to size databases and servers as part of the database consolidation project. - We will be moving 1000+ MS SQL databases as part of a database consolidation project. - Expert with backup methodologies. We are moving to a product called COMMVAULT to work in tandem with MS SQL. COMMVAULT experience would be a Big Plus - Proficient in DBA monitoring and diagnostics tools. - Architect to implement an MS SQL Best Practice Database configuration in the new datacenter. SQL Clusters. - Security Lead. Must be able to architect to comply with SOX and PCI. MS SQL 2008e TDE, Applying SSL certificates), how to Mask data on refreshes. Best practice for DBA access and Auditing capture. - Architect tools implementation for Space trending , Database metrics collection. Processes to collect all database information to a central repository which can be used for budgeting etc.. - Instruct / educate operational DBA once the Architecture is defined. - Migration Tools person. How do we move the data from the closing data center to the new one. - Performance / Tuning skills and versed with the tools.
