Extensive knowledge of Oracle Applications 11.5.X and R12 a plus. 4 years of relevant Oracle work experience. Working knowledge and experience in design and implementation of data models and database design; data access and table maintenance codes; resolves database performance issues; database capacity issues; replication; application interfaces and other distributed data issues. * *The Oracle DBA/System Admin role requires the skills of both a DBA and Oracle Applications System Admin. This role requires a working knowledge of the Oracle R12 and the PL-SQL development language. Ideal candidates must have experience with managing multiple Oracle databases as well as maintaining and supporting an Oracle R12 deployment. This role requires working knowledge and experience using the relational databases Oracle 9.x or greater. * *Responsibilities/Deliverables for this position include: ** Creating the production, test and development of Oracle instances and installation/upgrade of Oracle Applications. Daily database administration, creation, performance tuning, backup and recovery of Oracle systems. Creating and maintaining scripts and stored procedures utilizing PL/SQL. Oracle Applications patch analysis, planning, and application. Develop and implement database policies and procedures for data security and integrity. Ensure all databases and platforms are backed up to meet appropriate business needs. Model new databases and changes to existing databases as required.
