Starting ASAP. ** *Interview process:* phone followed by F2F. *BASIC FUNCTION:* The Mid web developer position requires full-stack Drupal development for industry-leading, consumer facing mobile and desktop websites. This work consists of new development and ongoing maintenance in support of desktop and mobile focused sites. Job Requirements: *Key Requirements* *The candidate for this position is expected to have the following:* - Possess a strong and up-to-date knowledge of web design and web standards, in particular with respect to concepts of full separation of content from presentation using CSS/text-based table-less layout, accessibility, cross-browser compatibility techniques, separation of concerns and reusability - Strong Drupal 7.x and PHP skills - HTML5/CSS3 - JQuery and other popular frameworks - Other js based frameworks such as NodeJS, backbone, requireJS, ember, angular, bootstrap, etc. - Object oriented Javascript - Object Oriented Methodologies - Understanding of semantic markup - Webservice consumption, JSON manipulation - Github or SVN - Familiar with one or more CSS pre-compilers such as LESS or SASS - Deep familiarity with front-end web performance optimization techniques and tools - Basic understanding of Unix and full LAMP stack - Understanding of Open Graph and other Social Media - Agile methodologies Additionally, the successful candidate: - Is a demonstrated self-starter with a can-do attitude - Works well within an agile project team to ensure project goals are met - Receives minimal supervision and generally be able to work independently and within a team. Demonstrates eagerness to contribute to a better and more interoperable Web, and enthusiasm for the mission and spirit of what’s required for the company; be an energetic, creative individual with experience producing results in a fast-paced environment - Has a deep understanding of unobtrusive js coding and multiple event listening/handling on a single document - Has good knowledge of Photoshop for cutting and optimizing web graphics.
