   - Develop, modify, and debug of programs using SWT/Eclipse RCP.
   - Analyzes existing programs or implements business logic for new
   Requirements.
   - Devises logic procedures, performs coding and testing/debuging
   programs, and assists in production deployments.
   - Works with production support to analyze and fix data inconsistencies,
   business logic misinterpretations, or code bugs in production environments.


*Essential Functions:*
Develops, codes, programs, and debugs software application programs using
designated Java and SWT/Eclipse RCP. Conducts detailed and documented
design, development and testing. Works closely with other members of
engineering team to participate in software and systems design, contributes
to problem solving discussions and ensures that the designs for projects
are consistent with product architecture, quality and performance
requirements.



*Job Requirements:* *Required Knowledge and Skills:*
Strong Java development experience; SWT/RCP development experience; Strong
oral, written, and verbal communication skills; Ability to rapidly identify
and escalate problems; Ability to adapt to continually-changing priorities
and aggressive project time frames.

*Preferred Knowledge and Skills:*
Experience with Hibernate/JPA,Webservices.
*NOTE:  I am looking for 2-4 Senior Java Developers with demonstrated
Eclipse RCP experience (at least 1 year SOLID exp.).  These consultants
must be able to adapt quickly and keep up in a fast paced environment.  *
*EXTRA INFO:*
*Below are the day to day tasks and skills needed for this position.  *
*• Worked on client side of the application as well as server side by
creating web services.
• Client Side:
o Developed UI screens in Eclipse RCP, SWT, Jfaces.
o Creating client side web services using xsd’s, wsdl’s and building using
ant scripts as a requester.
o Used MVC architecture framework to build the Workbench application
screens and other functionalities.
o Jfaces has been used, which provides helper classes for developing UI
features that can be tedious to implement.
o Modifying ant scripts, xsd’s, wsdl’s and necessary corporate documents
etc.,
o Bugzilla, an IDE which is used for tracking bugs and issues.
• Server Side:
o Followed three-tier architecture on the server side.
o Created Web Services as a producer by generating request and response
based on the requirement.
o Used Soap UI to test web services and the communication between client
and server.
o All the business logic was developed in delegate’s and the data is
persisted in DAO’s using POJO’s where persistence layer has been developed
using Hibernate.
o Written sql queries, stored procedures, and joins to pull the data from
database.
o Fixing bugs and issues that arise during testing.
o Sql developer (IDE) is used to perform PL/Sql functions against Oracle
DB.
o Created data sources and jndi name during deployment of application in
Weblogic Server.
o Written test cases to test the business logic using FIT (Framework for
Integration Testing) Framework.
o Also written JUnit test scripts to test the business logic.
o Also written Java session beans for maintaining the long session while
fetching the results.
• Workbench uses Cruise control to build the entire application based on
scheduled timings. Involved in kicking of builds whenever necessary.
• Designed icons for workbench using InkSpace.
• Worked in an environment where we had a weekly sprints as well as monthly
application releases.
• Implemented all requirements under mentioned deadlines.*
