Position:QA Engineer with C++ testing exp Location:San Ramon,CA Duration: 12 Months Key Accountabilities: • Understanding of client server technology • Experience managing test Environments • Experience staging, deploying and configuring software on test environments with test data and/or messages • C++ Testing experience • Demonstrated ability to install Software Releases, perform Failover testing, high availability testing, etc. • Provide diagnostic support (analyze logs, DB checks, config files, etc.). • Liaise with Software and Test Team to triage system issues. • Gather test requirements • Develop, implement and execute automation test plans • Develop Test Design Specifications and Test Strategies • Develop and execute Test cases and Test Scripts for Automation • Prepare Test reports • Prepare Test summaries • Help resolve environment deployment issues • Seek out expertise, knowledge, and resources to develop solutions to problems • Participate in technical communications within the team and with other groups associated with specified projects • Participate in design reviews and make recommendations on site improvements • Provide input to improvements of processes and procedures • Participate in review of QE documentation and test scripts • Work on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned that will contribute towards team, department, and company goals • Communicate progress and escalate issues to management in a timely manner • Work on difficult problems of a broad scope • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and development for more junior engineers • Estimate resource requirements for software test projects • Develop task plans for individuals or small groups • Work effectively with management within the function, across functions and with external parties • Individual should be able to operate, drive results and set priorities independently • Be a proactive contributor and subject matter expert • Demonstrate favorable results through regular leadership and influencing others Skills Summary Required: • BS degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or higher Unit testing experience required • 5+ years in experience developing automation and tools using C++ (C# may also be considered) • UI Automation interface testing experience • Experience with any automation tools (WebdriverJS, Java Selenium Web Driver, SoapUI, TestNG, minimum, Microsoft Developer studio 2010) • Hands-on Experience in OO languages and API testing Exposure to Agile software development life cycle, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills DB Experience - SQL, schema design, etc Highly Desired: • Experience working with Node.JS, Karma and Protractor test automation framework • Experience working with Java J2EE, Restful web services, Play framework • Work experience with Behavior Test Driven Development tools like Cucumber or JBehave • UI Javascript development experience is big plus • Experience working in cross functional teams *Thanks & Regards,* *Abid Hassan* | Fax: (408) 273 - 6002 Thanks and Regards, *E-mail: *a...@allianceit.com <ut...@allianceit.com> |*Website*: http://www.allianceit.com *Note:** We respect your online privacy.
