QA Tester Location: Columbus OH Duration: 3-6 Months In person interviews Requried, Preferred experience: •Previous experience in performing unit and integration testing for a major implementation. •Strong written and verbal communication skills. •Excels at working in a project environment and on cross-functional teams. •Retail background is preferred. •Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience. •Client uses Quality Center, so even though it’s not specified, QTP experience will be a plus. Duties and Responsibilities: Carries out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet minimum company standards and end-user requirements •Executes software test cases, scenarios, and steps for the MPQ by Size project to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. The resource will be using test scripts to run test scenarios in a testing environment. They use Test Director to report out status and defects. •May create test data for applications. •Documentation of defects and collaboration with developers to identify / troubleshoot defects, and re-test defects •Reports progress on problem resolution to management. •Acts as information resource about assigned areas to Quality Assurance Specialists and other associates.
