Location: Detroit MI

Candidates submitted with rates at or below the Target Rate will be given
priority in the evaluation process over candidates submitted above the
Target Rate.
No candidate will be accepted above the Maximum Rate.
DESCRIPTION:
The Application Developer Advanced should have expertise in all of
Informatica’s core development products as well as a solid understanding of
data warehousing and business intelligence.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Deliver a project that directly supports the key business drivers
• Produce high quality performance tuned deliverables using
Informatica 8.6.1
• Provide knowledge guidance to Business Analysts and ETL Developers
• Ensure compliance of meta data standards for the data warehouse
• Create the following deliverables during the project life cycle:
o Technical requirements definition
o Source system analysis
o Source to Target Mapping documentation
o Informatica ETL build
• Status reporting and Issue Resolution are critical functions of the
tech lead role
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 5 years experience as ETL developer using Informatica and
Oracle to develop data warehousing projects
• 5 years experience working in enterprise data warehousing efforts
using Industry Standard data movement tools such as Informatica and Data
Stage
• Solid understanding of data warehousing methodologies.
• Previous project experience with at least 3 large, preferable
multi-year, data warehousing project
• MUST HAVE strong SQL skills
• Experience in Oracle database programming using Partitioning,
Materialized View and OLAP
• Experience in tuning Oracle queries/processes and performance
management tools
• Strong business and communication skills
• Size of previous data warehouse experience should be at least 10
terabytes to be considered a strong candidate
• Knowledge of Health Care Insurance Payer Data Warehousing Preferred.
• Previous experience working as a Production Support role for
Informatica highly preferred.
