*Job Title: ETL Administrator* *Location: Denver, CO (MUST currently live in Denver, CO)* *Duration: 6 Month Contract* *Rate: Around $40/hr C2C MAX* *Must Have*: -Experience de-bugging ETL scripts on a Linux server (preferably pentaho or abinitio ETL tools) -Troubleshooting ETL issues -Experience writing custom scripts (in shell) to resolve issues -Proficient with Linux in regards to de-bugging and writing shell scripts -SQL database knowledge -This candidate should have database understanding (i.e what an oracle cluster is, etc.) *Day-to-Day*: This company has a new application going live this month. This candidate's job will be to de-bug ETL scripts (shell scripts) for this application. The scripts are run on Linux servers and the data from the scripts is stored in a SQL database. This person could be looking at 1,000 jobs/scripts a day, looking through the logs, seeing why they failed and working with the development team to ensure that they are fixed. An example would be the ETL job can't connect to the SQL database so this person is driving the outage and figuring out the issue.
