Able to work on multiple projects concurrently Strong interpersonal and communications skills Experience with Agile or Scrum highly preferred Candidates from financial and/or insurance software development environments highly preferred *Job Description:* We are looking for a very Technical Business System Analyst to solve some of the problems around the gaps in the design and requirements in order to avoid the rework later on and save cost from doing so. The Technical BSA will be responsible for reviewing the current design of the systems for the online bill pay process and evaluating each step of the way from when a member logs in to pay to when they make changes and so forth. The BSA will need to understand the information that each step provides to the member and then work closely to design the backend of the systems so that they are compatible with the front end and to what the member views online. This requires heavy System Design experience and very heavy use case realization experience. MUST HAVE UML experience around structure and concepts. Should have use case realization experience. Will also require extensive UML modeling and work flow diagram experience. Most likely this resource will have come up in their career from a technical development background and moved into an SA/BSA role. The product owner, who is responsible for the functional specs and use cases, will work with this BSA resource to design the use cases. Will be responsible for heavy documentation, use case tables and using Visio to create Workflow diagrams. It will be very helpful to have some Agile/Scrum experience as that?s what they are using for methodology. They work on all web based internet applications so its important to have worked on public facing website applications. This position sits on the Marketing Team and interfaces daily with the Business and the Design Team and will also work very closely with the Internet Development teams. It's imperative to understand how the business impacts the back systems (they are on a mainframe). The requirement for coding experience (i.e. we would consider programming time spent in college part of the experience required). Responsible for analyzing software requirements for new and existing application development. This includes extracting use cases and creating and communicating via clear, unambiguous use case realizations using textual analysis, use case diagrams, domain models, robustness diagrams, sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, communication diagrams, wireframes, mocks, data mapping documents and any other necessary artifacts such that the Development team can implement software solutions with minimal ambiguity. Work closely with the Solutions Architect, Technical Leads, UI Leads, Product Managers and SMEs to ensure that the use case realizations adhere to tactical and strategic architecture principles and roadmap Traces all modeling artifacts back to requirements and maintains modeling artifact on an ongoing basis as a result of communication feedback and agreements.
