OBIEE Report Developer Duration: 12 Months
Worksite Location: Louisville, KY Rate:DOE Top Three Skills: 1. Must have 2 – 4 years experience with BI Publisher 11g. 2. Must be able to create, develop and design reports & dashboards in OBIEE v 11 3. Must have deep knowledge in Oracle 11g database from develop and design perspective. Job Description: Here is a summary of what we are looking for. The skill sets would be Oracle BI Publisher and XML or strong report writing ability with similar product. Oracle Forms / Reports could be helpful, but not absolutely required. " Business Intelligence and Analytics Report Developer: The main focus of the position will be gathering and documenting end-user requirements for operational and analytical reporting, developing functional specifications for end user report requests, developing a process for any necessary cleansing of the data, developing and executing test plans, and developing report sets for new business areas as required. Essential Job Duties: • Works closely with the Business Systems Analyst and Functional Leads to determine reporting requirements and discuss issues throughout the development process. • Attends end-user design sessions to define requirements for reporting and develop functional specifications • Develop reports, queries, dashboards to meet business requirements based on final design and functional specifications. • Understands the database model and data elements to define the operational data store, data mart and summary OLAP data needs • Understands and applies concepts of metrics and summary reporting, data mining and executive/board quality reports. • Defines extract/import logic and identify methods for transforming or cleansing the data as needed to meet report specifications • Review report data for accuracy. Additional Information: • Two (2) years’ experience developing reports with Oracle BI Publisher using the BI Publisher Desktop version. • Strong SQL, PL/SQL and programming skills. • Experience with data modeling and mapping. • Experience with TOAD, SQL*Developer or other database management and administration tools. • Experience with Oracle Database development. • Experience with creating RTF layouts in Microsoft Word. • Experience with desktop computer software such as Microsoft Office, Google Docs or other business productivity software packages • Documenting designs, user requirements, testing issues and user guides.
