Looking forward to hear from you... *Role: Senior Data Modeler* *Location: Kansas City, MO* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Rate: DOE* *Responsibilities:* · Reports to Director, Data Engineering. · Designs, develops, builds, analyzes, and evaluates systems to include: o Data modeling and design. o Relational Database architecture. o Metadata and repository creation. o Configuration Management. · Uses data mapping, data mining and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases. · Performs data extraction, cleaning, aggregation and quality checking from multiple data sources. · Determines data storage and optimum storage requirements. · Partners with the Industry Analyst team during the formulation, implementation, testing/validation of data modeling and reporting tool product offerings. · Prepares system requirements, source analysis and process analysis throughout the database implementation. · Assists the development team in the analysis of database alternatives/structures to meet overall architecture intent. · Develops backup and recovery programs for the database. *Requirements:* · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences or related field. · Strongly grounded in database principles, including data modeling and data structures. · Minimum 5 years of experience in building scalable and high performance data models for web applications and reporting tools. · 3-5 years of experience in data processing including ETL and building data marts or data warehouses. · Experience with an ETL Tool such as Pentaho, Talend or Informatica. · Strong interpersonal and communications skills; ability to consult, partner and work effectively with business partners and technical partners across functions. · Excitement for building on open sourced tools as well as contributing to existing products.
