*SQL with Dynamics AX 2012 Overland Park, Kansas 3 Months Contract* The person will primary responsible for report development on top of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, these reports fall under two different categories: 1. SSRS based report : Responsible for Report development for MS Dynamics AX as per the specific requirements using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) based on SQL Server 2008 R2 platform. This includes writing T-SQL or any SQL object such as views, stored procedures, functions etc. that is required to pull data for reports. 2. Management Reporter based financial reports: Responsible for creating financial reports using Microsoft management Reporter 2012. Management Reporter is a new tool, so this skill is preferred as not many resources out there will have it. *Required Knowledge & Skill set:* Good exposure of SQL Server 2008 R2 and/or SQL Server 2012 Sound experience in developing reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Strong T-SQL query writing skill including Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, views etc. Knowledge and experience on Microsoft Report Builder is desirable Experience with report development using Microsoft management Reporter for Dynamics AX 2012 is not necessary but will be highly preferred. Any prior experience with report development for Microsoft Dynamics AX will be highly preferred. Experience in SSRS security setting & report deployment. Good exposure of Query optimization.
