The Solution Architect is typically experienced with most aspects of Salesforce.com including Standard SFA functionality, Customer Portal, Partner Portal, Content etc including the Force.com platform. Adept at designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients as part of a high-talent team. Responsible for leading business process reviews for the enterprise, defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines. The Solution Architect can be responsible for direct ownership of a particular project component or workstream. The Systems Architect also has the ability to delegate work & tasks to a BA. Specialties: Solution Architect- A Solution Architect is responsible for owning the overall design of the technical application as well as recommending best practice solutions based on client business needs. A solution architect maps business requirements to system/technical requirements. A Solution architect understands the technical depth of the project and validates the correct resources for the project. A Solution Architect should be involved in pre-sales engagement and can articulate what requirements have changed pre and post BPR. The Solution Architect is also responsible for writing a technical spec (for custom development, system integration etc.) jointly with the technical lead.
