*SUMMARY:* This consultant will be responsible for the IBM System i development. The purpose of the consultant is to provide technical problem solving skills on the IBM System i development platform. The consultant will assist in architecture and development of several projects, focused on the IBM System i development platform. The consultant will require an understanding of the numerous applications on the IBM System i platform, and how they interact with one another. *RESPONSIBILITIES:* - Project requirement analysis. - Provide open and scalable design solutions. - Provide thoughtful and thorough development estimates. - Provide quality development and documentation control. - Complete time entry reporting and project task reporting in a timely manner. - Must stay on the cutting edge of industry technologies. *REQUIRED SKILLS: * - 10+ years of Professional experience.** - 5 years of IBM System i development experience. - Technical expertise in IBM System i development languages, (AS400 or AS 400) RPG/ILE, CL, Embedded SQL, IBM System i database development, DB2, Stored procedures, Triggers, DDS, SQL, IBM System i work management. - Good team player and leadership skills. - Excellent trouble shooting skills. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Excellent knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing software (Excel and MS.
