Network configuration and troubleshooting on large IP networks. DNS and DHCP administration experience a plus. Automation of common tasks with Perl, shell scripts, VB script and batch files. An understanding of how various server applications (Web Servers (Apache, IIS), databases (Oracle, mysql), application servers (Tomcat, WebSphere) ) work together for an overall systems solution. Experience to Storage Area Network EMC CX series, Fiber Switches (Zoning) Experience in Email Security and DNS SMTP. In addition, candidate must possess the following skills: Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Exceptional conceptual and analytical problem solving abilities Exceptional consulting and customer service skills. Self-motivated and able to define, plan, and implement long term tasks and goals Self-starter who takes initiative and works well in a team environment Ability to meet deadlines and work independently when required. Experience in the following areas is a plus: Experience with Active Directory and Exchange 2007 a big plus Experience with Monitoring Tools such as SiteScope a big plus. Database experience a plus, especially Oracle. SQL is a plus. Application technologies including IBM WebSphere, Tomcat etc. Common internet protocols including HTTP, SSL, and SOAP/XML-RPC/Web Services.
