*Years of experience:* *10+ years of experience with managing IBM Tivoli or similar products.* *Title: Tivoli Systems Engineer* *Duration: 6+ Months (Most Likely 18 Months)* *Locations: Jersey City, NJ* *Job Duties and Description:* Role: Tivoli Application Engineer Duties: • Assess current deployment of the toolset, drive improvements, re-architect or replace with different solution • Develop solutions strategy, product selection and testing. Includes: o Assess current deployment of the toolset o Drive improvements o Re-architect or replace with different solution o Automation solutions • Responsible for PDLC for each application which includes: o Product evaluation o POC/Validation o Training plan / operational readiness documentation o Deploy to QA and test o Develop Product Roadmap Requirement: Candidate should have experience with deploying, configuring, troubleshooting and upgrading IBM Tivoli monitoring suite expertise in Onmibus, Netcool and ITM/APM agents. Additional experience with non-IBM monitoring is a plus. Candidate should be knowledgeable in both Linux and Windows platforms and must also have the ability to script in shell perl and/or Python.
