Title: *Oracle Technical Consultant* Duration: 2+ months Location: Clarence Center, NY (just outside Buffalo NY ) Requirement Description: Performs Oracle ERP technical roles specific to Oracle Manufacturing (BOM, WIP, MRP), Inventory, Quality, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash modules. Possess strong technical knowledge of Oracle applications modules stated earlier. Previous experience of working with Oracle Workflow/AME/BPEL is desirable. Basic functional knowledge of the above modules would be nice to have. Prior experience of having worked in the IT ERP support group of a discrete manufacturing company is a huge plus. Experience working with Oracle TAR is a must. Also, requires application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of related functional and technical support, training and project tasks. Performs duties in one or more of the business applications technology disciplines in ERP applications and ensures Client internal and external customer expectations are met or exceeded.Given initial guidance, capable of conducting root cause analysis for issues and working on their techno-functional (80-20%) solutions Adheres to internal IT procedures. A strong sense of teamwork is a must Exposure to reporting tools like Noetix, OBIEE is nice to have Researches problem-solving tools and techniques and evaluates applicability to specific problems within assigned area. Provides technical input to ERP teams who seek individual’s input. Develops Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), tests and validates various system programs and/or software to support quality control practices Will prepare technical specifications, data-flow logics and guide developers for coding *QUALIFICATIONS: (education & experience) * 4-year degree in Information Systems or a major in computer science Requires a 5+ years of Oracle ERP experience with Manufacturing companies in North America Should have worked with MFG modules in either technical or Techno functional role for at least 2 years * QUALIFICATIONS: (Technical skills) * PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL*Loader, TKPROF, Trigger Oracle Developer 2000, Oracle Forms/Reports 6i (Very Strong Skills) Oracle Work-Flow – Version 2.5/2.6 – Working (Technical) knowledge Oracle Discoverer – Version 4i/10g Strong understanding of the Oracle applications architecture and Table Structures Good UNIX OS working knowledge including Shell scripts Oracle applications framework/HTML/Java/JSP/XML Developer/Publisher (Very Strong Skills) BPEL/AME Build Customizations *Nice to Have* Interfaces, data conversion or Extend APPS Functional knowledge of procure to pay, order to cash modules and manufacturing modules Dashboard development experience Exposure to technicalities of R12 * ELIGIBILITY:* In current position a minimum of six (6) months Without written disciplinary action for past twelve (12) months Supervisory approval for lateral (same grade) transfer..
