*QA with Java and Shell scripting * *Location: Chicago*
*Duration - 6-9 months.* *US Citizens/GC Holkders or H1B candidate* The identified candidate will be part of a team of Quality Engineers working to build a comprehensive non-UI test automation framework, design, development and maintenance. * Reviewing requirements specifications to assure quality of the products and assess regression scenarios to be automated * Test automation assessment, analysis and roadmap development, ROI analysis * Using risk-driven techniques to Develop, Maintain, and Execute automated test suites and execute those * Review application code (pre-dominantly C++ based) to identify possible defect causes; Assist in Root Cause Analysis * Support set up of data, tools, databases to support integrated test environments and moving towards Continuous Integration * Prepare and assist in preparation of automation scripts using Perl and/or Python * Provide technical guidance to team members As required, o Work with the development team to capture and reuse automated unit test cases, test stubs and drivers o Trace test cases and results back to specific quality risks.
