*Title : MICROSTRATEGY ETL DEVELOPER * *Location: San Jose CA* *Duration: Till Dec 2015 with extension into 2016* *Job Description:* BI/ETL :A BI Engineer at client must be able to work with a top notch development team in designing, coding and implementing BI solutions in a large scale data warehousing environment. Possess strong SQL skills so as to write queries to extract data from Oracle/Teradata environments. Job Requirements: ü Must have strong knowledge in report development and at least five years’ experience as with MicroStrategy/Tableau reporting tools. ü Must have strong knowledge and at least three years’ experience with databases like Teradata, Oracle. ü Must have strong knowledge and at least two years’ experience with ETL applications like Informatica. ü Must have strong analysis and design skills, translating requirements into technical specifications and design documents. ü Be able to verify and validate report data. ü Experience in implementing BI solutions for large-scale Data Warehouse projects with Hadoop is a plus. ü Experience in Scripting using Unix Shell Script, Python, and Perl. ü Experience in data modeling using Power Designer will be a plus. ü Experience in Reporting using Microstrategy/Tableau will be a plus. ü Agile experience. Able to work independently and as part of a team, ü Background in data warehousing with Finance / Banking industry is a plus. ü Excellent written and verbal communications skills Can be relied on to deliver products on time and to the requirements. Correctly estimates software schedules, and delivers on time without quality issues. Can triage and resolve production issues without supervision. Able to evangelize innovations, through prototyping or other means.
