This person will be responsible for pipeline configuration, data manipulation, and general ATG development, integration and extensions using Java/J2EE and GUI tools. They will support and work with the technical lead/director in producing quality deliverables. *Experience/ Technical Skills Requirements:* - 7+ years defining, designing, and developing Java based applications preferably for eCommerce. - 2+ years in a project lead role. - Experience with large-scale high-volume e-commerce application design, development and deployment. - Detailed knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Object Oriented Analysis and Design/Development (OOA/OOD). - Java EE/J2EE, XML, SOAP, Servlet, Web Service and other relevant Java technologies. - Web user interface technologies (HTML, JSP, Tag Libraries, AJAX, JavaScript). - Integration experience (examples: Content Manage7ment Systems, Search Engines, Web Services, Tax Processors, Payment Processors, Fulfillment, Ad Engines). - Oracle database experience including transaction management, SQL programming, schema design and JDBC. - Networking knowledge and experience. - Relevant O/S knowledge (Linux/Unix and Windows). - JVM Semantics/Garbage Collection knowledge. - Application Server (such as JBoss or Web Logic) experience. - Web Server (Apache and IIS) knowledge. - Knowledge of Java open source technologies and frameworks (Hibernate, Struts, Spring, JSF). - Ability to communicate effectively in English, with good verbal and written skills. - Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. - Bachelor’s degree - ATG is a plus *Responsibilities:* - Configuring and implementing all aspects of ATG as part of a bigger solution under the guidance of the technical lead/director. - Performing development tasks with little direction or supervision. - Performance tune and troubleshoot large scale web applications. - Working closely with the Tech Lead to help develop technical design artifacts. - Developing web applications and web services in a scalable and reusable manner. - Utilizing application servers, such as JBoss and WebLogic, in order to implement the proposed solution. - Utilizing various application integration techniques to communicate with third party and legacy/back-end systems.
