*Role: Splunk developer* *Location: Nashville* JD: • 4-5 years of software development experience. • Minimum 2 years of experience designing and implementing Splunk-based solutions. • Core competencies in distributed technologies including Java/J2EE. • Deep understanding of Splunk architecture. • Previous project experience maintaining Splunk components (indexer, forwarder, search head). • Prior experience onboarding new data sources and setting up alerts (formatting, standardization, etc). • Previous experience implementing Splunk Best Practices (apps, add-ons, searches, etc). • Ability to write regex to perform field extractions at search time. • Experience writing Splunk queries to create complex Splunk dashboards using simple XML. • Knowledge of app creation, user and role access permissions. • Good Understanding of Splunk configuration files .
