*Respond to al...@catamerica.com* Job Title: Sharepoint Developer Location: Anderson,SC Duration: 12+ Month * DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES*: The SharePoint Consultant is responsible for assessing, recommending, and implementing best practices for the use of SharePoint as an enterprise project management tool for a health and human services organization with an emphasis on its software development efforts. The consultant will work with the organization’s managers/senior leaders and its developers/system administrators to enhance its SharePoint implementation. Furthermore, the SharePoint consultant will work with side-by-side with the client’s existing SharePoint administrators and .NET developers as a mentor and trainer. It is expected that the consultant will assess the current configuration and organizational goals, recommend and implementation plan and work closely with the team to implement the plan. * REQUIRED SKILLS:* The SharePoint Consultant role has three major components: assessment and recommendations, implementation, and staff training. Candidates must display excellence in all areas. Proven experience implementing SharePoint 2010 for use with software project management Demonstrated experience configuring SharePoint 2010 Keen ability to recognize opportunities for process improvement that may be supported through SharePoint. Strong understanding of SharePoint 2010 ¬ its strengths, weaknesses and ability to integrate with project management process and other IT systems or tools. Understanding and experience expanding SharePoint functionality through .NET development. Understanding of IT development lifecycle processes including development and testing. Ability to work side-by-side with, mentor, and train client’s SharePoint staff/administrators. Superb written and oral communications skills, including the ability to effectively interact with both managers/senior leadership and software developers/system administrators. Willingness and ability to effectively engage with people and organizations on a continuous basis.
*PREFERRED SKILLS:* Knowledge of healthcare and related insurance principles and processes. Medicaid eligibility system/business operations experience. Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) experience Medicaid operations experience. Public sector and/or academic environment experience is a plus.
