Please have a view on the below position we have with our client and let me know if you be interested. *Location: Pittsburgh, PA* *Duration: Long term* *Position Title: SAP/VERTEX Functional analyst and configurator* The incumbent will be responsible for tax related SAP/R3 and VERTEX local/regional/global configuration, functional support, and testing of the MM, SD, and FI functional modules as they relate to US Sales and Use tax and VAT; actively participate and provide leadership in SAP/R3 and VERTEX development, deployment, and collaborate on Sales and Use tax initiatives and incentives by partnering with Corporate Tax to provide system solutions; responsibilities include analysis, solutions design, scripting, configuring – including efforts for synchronization with global prototypes, post deployment support, trouble shooting, optimization, and documentation of specifications; interface with business personnel to gather business requirements and to insure NAFTA Sales and Use Tax and VAT requirements are met within the SAP system with the goal of providing overall quality information system service; expected to validate and track the project plan activities to insure successful implementation and to review project status with project leaders as necessary.
