*****Immediately Needed A Consultant***** Systems Analyst Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 12-18 Months Contract Description : One of our top clients, a prestigious Chicago based financial organization, has a 12-18 month contract opportunity for a Systems Analyst with experience working in a brokerage or exchange with options or futures. The Systems Analyst will be responsible for interacting with the business users to clearly understand their requirements, and translate them in system design documentation that will be used by developers for making system changes or building new applications. The Systems Analyst will follow through with development, testing and implementation support. Concurrent projects are currently ongoing aimed at the introduction and support of new initiatives, as well as system enhancements implemented across multiple areas: Trade / Post-Trade / Positions Processing, Master Files, Collateral and Margins, Settlements. Requirements: Minimum of 5 yrs. of Systems Analyst experience in requirements gathering, documentation and reporting. MUST possess in-depth knowledge of Listed Options / Futures. Prior back-office experience with derivatives exchanges or a clearing house required. Strong writing, communication and presentation skills. In-depth SQL knowledge (Must be able to write and debug, not just read) and data modeling. Very good understanding of client-server, batch and real-time processing. Must have had testing experience, writing and executing formal test cases. Bachelor's Degree required.
