Provide analysis, design and coding support for business enhancements to
the system. Maintain adherence to company standards and procedures.
*Major Responsibilities:*Lead small to medium size projects.
Maintains existing client server and web based applications.
Recommends and develops information system projects that improve
manufacturing efficiencies and product quality.
Assume leadership for own portion of large projects
Use standard methodologies to carry out projects and tasks
Develop application interfaces that are tailored to the user needs and are
integrated with new and existing systems.
Develop accurate, efficient, and user friendly computer programs
Provide problem solving assistance in one or more applications or technical
areas
Apply knowledge and judgment to problem situations
Provide services which adhere to standards and established procedures
Monitor service levels and actively look for ways to improve service
efficiency and effectiveness
Test, debug, and document programs to ensure desired customer requirements
are met.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management
Interact with users in defining and analyzing a problem
Participation in an after hour on-call rotation is a requirement
(approximately every 5 weeks).
*Required Skills:*Application platform experience (such as VB6 or .NET)
with a primary focus on supporting complex business processes.
Database skills preferably in Microsoft SQL.
Troubleshooting and debugging skills for complex applications.
Knowledge of Windows 2000, Windows XP, Active Directory and IIS.
Project management – ability to manage to completion small to medium scale
projects.
*Experience Requirements: *4 Year Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science/Computer Engineering
Minimum 2-5 years relevant work experience
*Desired Experience/Skills:*Extensive application design, development, and
delivery experience.
Extensive Microsoft SQL database programming/administration skills
Expert knowledge of business process mapping and documentation of business
requirements, system design, and technical standards.
Experience with the multi-user MES interfaces.
Microsoft SSRS reporting experience.
Experience using Team Foundation Server.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Experience developing and debugging SQL Server stored procedures.
