Skills required (skills Marked in RED are MUST TO HAVE)
· Experienced manual functional tester (minimum 3-5 years) to work
in an embedded firmware development team, implementing firmware to support
full-featured BACnet building controllers.
· BACnet background highly desired, CFC/CFC+ beneficial.
· Strong troubleshooting, analysis and issue resolution.
· Very strong in personal and written communication.
· Tools: VTS and a protocol sniffer like Wireshark or BASSomatic.
· Windows-based software savvy .
· PC/embedded hardware knowledgeable, including electrical,
component and wiring.
· Solid networking, IP and bus (such as MSTP, Dali, SARB).
· Very little ramp-up time, will be coached by test lead as
necessary.
· Project is a global, multi-year, multi-site development.
· Agile development team is high velocity, running on 30-day
sprints. Developers are seasoned, highly experienced, and very driven.
· Scripting concepts and ideas.
· Python, as well as other OO languages are beneficial.
· HVAC control industry experience
