*Critical Skills: UX Designer ....Position number 1*
Notes to the Partners:
In a nutshell, we’re looking for someone to perform the following roles:
1. Write UX specifications for features by merging UX requirements, direct
user feedback, and business logic, so the developers can implement them
2. Act as a bridge between the development team (plus the IT department) and
the perfumers, translating concepts into their respective vernaculars
3. Provide hands-on application and feature styling in XAML using Blend 3
and (to a lesser extent) Visual Studio, and work closely with the
development team
4. Present to stakeholders in both IT and the perfumer community on the
developments to date, and demo the system
5. Translate technical functionality questions to ‘perfumer speak’ on behalf
of the development team to get answers to specific technical questions. (I
usually use scenario based questioning to help frame the functionality)
6. Work with the Training and Communications officer to support him with
messaging to the perfumers, particularly around how to introduce new
concepts that will change the way the perfumers work
