*Job Title*: DB2 DBA *Location*: Rochester, MI *Duration*: 6 Months + *Rate*: $60/hr C2C AI Our client is looking for a DB2 Database Administrator with *LUW (Logical Units of Work)* experience. The Administrator will be responsible for demonstrating a strong knowledge of data Architecture concepts, strategies and Administration functions of the DB2 Database. *Experience & Skills:* * Bachelors degree with 10 years related work experience or 10 years experience as a DBA* ** 10 years medium to large scale data management environment * 5 years experience with DB2 for LUW ** Database monitoring, proactive maintenance and advance problem resolution * Management of complex shared database environments * Strong technical knowledge with an emphasis on data * Demonstrated understanding of data architecture concepts and strategies, including types of data and the relationships between them; optimal data placement strategies; data usage guidelines; data technical components and the relationships between them * Strong understanding of networking and security requirements and issues as they relate to data movement (e.g. * database/data warehouse access, data replication, data movement, data distribution) * Strong understanding of databases and data access methodologies * Demonstrated ability to multi-task work assignments * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Strong teamwork skills within I.S. and client community * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Demonstrated ability to lead technical resource teams -- Regards Santosh Delight Consulting Services LLC. 2565 S.
