Role: Business Analyst With Design Tabulation Location: 800 Lincoln Way Ames Iowa 50010 Duration: 12 Months The Strategic Business Analyst skilled at to writing detailed specifications in Microsoft Word for a web application, “Design Tabulation”. This web application will be both internal and external to the DOT. This person will be working with Project Leads from the Office of Design as well as other offices within the DOT. This person will need to coordinate with these stake holders to get an understanding of the processes involved. This person will also have to work with the Highway Support Team to ensure that the specifications are following DOT IT standards. This effort encompasses over 200 Design Tabs. Each Design tab has defined fields, datatypes, rules, requirements, calculations and other automated processes completed by the Project Leads. Each Design tab will work independently but be compiled into a Design Plan for a project number. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with a diverse group of team members Strong ability to work effectively within time constraints, changing priorities, and independently Required / Desired Skills Demonstrated experience gathering requirements for an application development project - Required 8 Years Ability to interpret customer requirements, lead/participate in data mapping sessions with customer, recommend solutions and document data mapping req - Required 5 Years Ability to interact with customer to verify business rules and/or clarify data analysis - Required 5 Years Analyze and document business processes and flows - Required 5 Years Documents, analyzes and proposes process changes or re-engineering approaches based on an understanding of technical problems and solutions - Highly desired 5 Years Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Including Intermediate in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio - Required 3Years Experience updating scope document and helping to determine timelines and project phases - Highly desired 2Years Thank you, David Shah ds...@dsscorp.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
