In order to avoid falling behind with the SCUBI Project schedule dictated by the Consortium, the State of North Carolina's Division of Employment Security (DES) seeks to procure one (1) contractor to fill a Oracle DBA role to support associated SCUBI Oracle applications and databases. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Required Skills: Role Type: Oracle Data Base Administrator Required Skills: ITS Ability to install, configure, patch, upgrade, tune and monitor Oracle database and middleware fusion applications including Oracle 11 g/12c, Active Guard, Goldengate, Enterprise manager, OBIEE performance pack, OBIEE, Bl Publisher, and Oracle Security Suite Ability to design 3N form databases and star schemas Ability to configure backup and recovery and replication services Ability to work without assistance; can provide leadership to others Ability to manage highly complex work efforts. Must have advance database design skills using Erwin or Visio This position requires an advanced degree in computer science and at least 10 years of experience in Oracle technologies.
