We are looking for a *Datacenter *consultant Location: Franklin, MA Duration: 3 months extendable Hourly Rate: Competitive *Job Profile: - Datacenter Operations L2** * *Skill Requirements:-* · Knowledge of MS XP and Lotus Notes Functionality Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) · Ready to work in only Night Shifts (24x7x 365 model) · Fundamental knowledge of Networks, Servers (Windows/Linux/Unix/Solaris) · Stop/start/restart of a Windows system process or UNIX/Linux daemon process in association with a service incident. · Good troubleshooting Skills. · Exposure to any monitoring like Ca-Spectrum/BMC-SMARTS/HP-OVO/Compaq Insight manager/CA-NSM. · Hands-on on Ticketing tool like ITSM7/CA-service desk, VERITAS Net-backup and Backup Exec (Policies and restore). · Good communication skills. · Batch monitoring via Autosys/Tivoli (TWS 8.2) OPC scheduler). · Mainframe Monitoring, Tape monitoring via Omegamon. · Virus Monitoring, Validation and Escalations. · Server management and maintenance.(windows/Unix/Linux/Solaris) · Patch Management and deployment. · ITIL (incident/problem and Change management) · Windows System Shutdown/Reboots · UNIX System Shutdown/Reboots · Linux System Shutdown/Reboots · Virus management. *Certification:* ITIL Certified would be an added advantage. *Mainframe Job description:-* · Hands on experience with Mainframe z/OS 1.7 and/ or 1.9 consoles. · Basic and hands-on Knowledge of Database like DB2, IDMS, CICS (Managing & Monitoring). · Knowledge and understanding of IPL procedure (Mainframe Shutdown process). · Basic Knowledge of ISPF and SDSF menu and sub menu. · Changing job initiators, editing existing JCL for Batch job. · Restart HSC software(SCM0, SLS0) started task · MVS System Commands · JES2 System Commands · SDSF log and looking at and determining a complete error message. · Basic MIM Commands (like <DU, <DC, < etc..) · Hands-on experience in Control-M, Jobtrac, or any scheduling tool will be added advantage. · Monitoring/restarting/force ok failed job via scheduling tools like CA-Jobtrac, CA-7/11,Autosys,Control-M,TWS,Eurosys etc. · STK Silo commands and monitoring, like:- 1. Allocation Recovery 2. Tape Swaps 3. Determining outstanding tape mount & recovery.
