**Task 1. Work Prioritization:*

• Work with DADS IT EHLR PM, SSLC Facilities Director and IT IO Director to
prioritize each building within a site based on the number of aggregation
points from each building.
• Prioritize each SSLC based on the current risk level.
• Work with the DADS IT EHLR PM, SSLC Facilities Director and IT IO
Director to identify the business areas in need of stabilization and
improvements based on the level of performance needs.
• Work with the DADS IT EHLR PM, SSLC Facilities Director and IT IO
Director to gather required information to include but not limited to:
• Building construction
• Detailed building diagrams containing
• Size
• Construction material
• Room placement
• Existing cabling
• Facility layout including but not limited to:
• Building distance
• Soil composition
• Existing fiber location
• Trenching constraints
• Work with the DADS IT EHLR PM, DADS Security PM, DADS Information
Security Officer, SSLC Facilities Director and IT IO Director to install
Intrusion Prevention System hardware/software to monitor network and/or
system activities for security purposes.
• Develop 3 site packages containing four SSLCs per package.

*Each package could be aligned but not limited to:*
o Geographical location
o Number of high, medium, and low priority sites.

*Task 2. Detailed Assessment:*

• Identify a representative sample of SSLC sites for the following steps.
• Procurement by DADS IT of services by a network cabling company to
perform a detailed:
o Fiber plant assessment at each of the representative sampling of the SSLC
sites.
o Wireless heat map for Signal penetration at each of the representative
sampling of the SSLC sites

*Task 3. Design and Implementation SOW:*

• Develop a written approach, subject to DADS IT approval, for the design
and implementation of the network refresh.
• The written approach should require:
o Participation of a vendor walk-through of the representative sites
• Each approach should include:
o A detailed bill of material,
o fixed price cost for each of the sites within a package.

The Network Design Engineers will provide technical skill and expertise for
all tasks.  Further information on detailed project tasks will be discussed
with the DADS IT EHLR PM once onboarded.

*Minimum Requirements:**

**Years  Skills/Experience*
  7 Experience with the installation of networking technologies and
supporting networks.
  7 Extensive work experience installing networking technologies and
supporting networks.
  7 Experience assessing network configurations and making recommendations
based on product specifications.
  7 Experience configuring equipment and software to meet business needs,
ability to train others on the solution, and documenting solutions for
ongoing support.
  7 Strong facilitation, technical problem resolution, consensus building,
and negotiating skills.
  7 Experience in providing technical support with the design of network
solutions. For example, requires experience in the technical services and
support field as well as experience in network administration (DHCP, DNS,
routers, firewall, etc.).
  7 Experience with configuring equipment and software to meet business
needs, trains others on the solution, and documents the solution for
ongoing support. Functions as part of a team on larger projects, or
individually provides the services on support visits or smaller projects
  5 Able to function as part of a team on larger projects, or individually
provide the services on support visits or smaller projects.
  5 Must have a strong analytical, problem-identification and process
analysis skills with the ability to envision a solution from requirements.
For example, specifically able to provide technical support and/or
technical infrastructure operational support regarding general
network/infrastructure needs and operational activities.
  Strong Must have excellent communication skills both orally and in
writing.

  5 Experience working in state/federal government environments (either
DADS or Health and Human Services Commission agencies preferred).
