The Data Integration Developer is responsible for using the Informatica platform, as well as other products, to extract, transform, and load operational data into the analytic environment. Responsibilities include: - Interaction with DI Analyst, DI Architect, DI Administrator to determine data extraction and transformation requirements. - Interaction with the source system technical staff, the project database administrator (DBA) and the DI Administrator to develop and document the most efficient method to extract source data. - Determine and document the source systems, current and history data to be used in the extraction. - Develops and tests for extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes - Defines and captures metadata and rules associated with ETL processes - Creates all components of the cycle for extraction, integration and transformation - Documents cycle for extraction, integration and transformation. - Adapts ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems and new business requirement.
