Shepherd the Project Team through the Release process, being mindful of all requirements of cross functional partners. Responsibilities: - Product / Program:Be the go-to expert Aras/OnePDM Power User for the product line you support Work in concert with Component Engineering and Design engineering to create parts, BOMs, Documentation, and Changes. Ensure that part and BOM lifecycle comply with product development milestones Ensure that PDM practices comply with documented procedures and practices Ensure that contract design / manufacturers understand and follow WDS configuration management practices for MS-owned designs (e.g. part and BOM creation) Work with Contract Manufacturers to manage Changes from pre-release through implementation. Document best practices. *Qualifications:* Great people skills interfacing with many people on a tactical level - Attention to detail (ECO’s, PO’s, BOM’s, special build details, schedules, etc., must be complete and perfect) - Ability to deal with ambiguity by involving the right stakeholders - Great follow-through driving timely deliverable completion via the ECO process - The ability to manage many things at one time - In-depth experience with product development processes and a strong understanding of Contract Manufacturing and manufacturing processes - Strong tactical thinking, analytical skills and excellent communication skills are required. - Knowledge of high volume consumer electronics manufacturing and systems in support of manufacturing is strongly desired. - Experience using PDM Systems.
