*Role: Hadoop Admin* *Location: Ann Arbor, MI* *Duration: 3-6 Months* *Job description:* This is the DBA / Big-Data space. Hortonworks Hadoop Cluster installation, configuration and support. - 3+ years experience in install and configure hortonworks hadoop cluster - Backup and recovery of HDFS file system (distributed filesystem java based) - mySQL databases used by Cluster - Configure and maintain HA of HDFS, YARN (yet another resource negotiator) Resource Manager. , MapReduce, Hive - MIT Kerberos setup and configuration. Integration of Kerberos with LDAP/Windows AD. - Ranger Service configuration and setup policies. (authentication) - Knox service configuration. (reverse proxy, policy enforcement for Hadoop)…access control - Installation, configuration and support of Informatica BigData (bde) , Novetta, Alation (meta data, quality) , MDM software along with integration with Hadoop cluster. - Diagnose and resolve individual service issues. - Monitor and tune cluster component performance. - Knowledge on Linux commands and ability to analyze python scripts.
