Mid to Senior level client facing position working with a team of
healthcare professionals responsible for the creation and evaluation of
requirements, solution creation, selection, and architectural consulting
based on established standards and existing architecture.
*Primary Responsibilities: *
- Evaluate business requirements and prepare estimates that follow
project guidelines.
- Design systems and programs to meet complex business needs including
enhancements to existing programs
- Ensure designs meet enterprise standards
- Facilitate and/or support project team in resolving issues
- Work closely with the project team to quickly prototype possible
approaches to problems and needs, and help design and implement the final
solution
- Formulate, define and document functional system specifications
- Gather information from existing systems, analyze program and time
requirements
- Present and evaluate design solutions objectively
- Plan and manage multiple assignments of varying scope
- Lead others through delegation of technical tasks while also
completing tasks
*Qualifications: *
- Must have a working knowledge of business processes and IT platforms
in several of the following areas:
- *Strong claims platform experience*
- *Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial Lines of Business*
- *Claims, Member, Provider, Finance*
- *Care Management*
- *Billing, Capitation and Commissions*
- *Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)*
- *Systems Integration*
- *Datamarts and Portals*
- Ability to craft solutions with appropriate products and services that
meet client goals
- Ability to recognize revenue generating opportunities
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills, including ability to
interact effectively with external customers
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other
related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3*+ years claims platform experience*
- *5+ years working in healthcare IT or business*
- *2+ years in client facing roles*
