PeopleSoft Financials (General Ledgers (GL) and commitment control (KK) )Functional Lead consultant Location: Montclair, NJ Long term • 5+ years of applicable module experience for Lead Consultant position above applying for. • Provide PeopleSoft functional consulting services by acting as subject matter expert and leading clients through the entire systems development lifecycle • Work on all project phases including requirements gathering, fit/gap, configuration, and testing • Cross functional experience with other PeopleSoft Financials Modules • Configure the PeopleSoft system to meet each client’s unique business requirements • Ability to explain critical integration intra- and inter touch-points of the respective application and module • Excellent verbal skills, including conducting/leading client meetings, conduct presentations, and advise client on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems • Participate as a Global Liaison within Global Delivery • Ability to follow an implementation methodology and produce high quality work-products for Cognizant Technology Solutions and/or their clients • Complete tasks efficiently and in a timely manner • Report progress to clients and project managers • Possess and demonstrate Team Building and Consensus Building skills • Experience with working in a Global Organization • Experience with conducting fit/gap analysis, design, configuration and testing of one or more Campus Solution modules. • Energetic / Strong desire to work hard / Able to balance work and family life • Continually seek ways to improve the process of delivering PeopleSoft solutions Required PeopleSoft Skills: • Minimum of five years PeopleSoft experience in one or more Financials modules.
