*Description:*
This position is responsible for the implementation and support of the
company’s Order Management (SAP Sales and Distribution) process area
solutions. The position requires an individual with a deep understanding
of the Sales Order processing in SAP and key integration points with the
Supply Chain (MM/PP/WM) and Finance (FI/CO) modules in SAP.
*PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
Support the existing SAP design, SAP application configuration, and custom
system enhancements / integration points
Provide additional support to key Order Management Sales Order processes as
needed
Document requirements for new functionality as required in support of the
Order Management processes, which may include SAP application
configuration, custom enhancements and custom reports
Develop procedures, processes and guidelines that are efficient and focused
on the quality of the process or end state deliverable
Develop functional design specifications in support of existing and new
application requirements
Determine business impact and ROI on new business processes
Collaborate with various technical teams to evaluate design alternatives,
optimize design solution and minimize impact to performance
Develop and execute functional unit test cases in support of new
application requirements
Collaborate with cross functional teams to perform test activities (e.g.
string, integration, performance, user acceptance)
Responsible for managing design issue/defect resolution
Support the deployment of production applications and provide
post-production support related to the custom system enhancements, and
integration points
*QUALIFICATIONS:*
6 – 8 years of SAP configuration experience with the Sales and Distribution
module, acting in a systems analysis function (working with end-users to
translate business requirements into system specifications)
Demonstrated understanding of all aspects of a full life cycle
implementation and production support
Experience with complex implementations that include custom solutions
around SAP SD (interfaces, user exits, enhancements, customer programs) is
a must
Experience working with Vistex Data Management (DM) and/or Vistex
Incentives and Paybacks (IP) modules a plus
Excellent written and oral communications skills; ability to lead
discussions, present ideas to audiences of all sizes, and interact with all
levels of the organization
Knowledge of SAP structures, configuration standards, object dependencies
and tables
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate
well and cooperate with others to effectively coordinate activities and
accomplish goals
Proven ability to research and assess potential SAP solutions in support of
new business requirements
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Access)
Demonstrated ability to analyze and provide effective problem solving,
assessing whether standard functionality can be used and identifying
reasonable custom solutions where needed
Ability to translate functional requirements into technical terms relevant
to SAP to coordinate and assist with detailed technical design
Willingness and ability to travel as required
