Helpdesk Specialist
Richmond, VA
Long term contract

Not a typical Help Desk position, ideal to have a strong understanding of
commercial banking but it is not a requirement, the right person we will be
willing to train. Must haves are strong communication skills, interpersonal
skills and strong understanding of working with spread sheets. First 2
weeks will be more of training rather than having to worry about jumping on
the phone with users. Candidate will have plenty of time to get comfortable
with the role before full exposure.

Provides management for the support, availability, operation, and
recoverability of production systems. Includes functions in support of end
user needs.
Includes first-level technical support to both internal and external
customers.  Usually provided via telephone.  The individual would be
supporting a help desk
-          Answering question over the phone and through emails on how to
use a commercial underwriting system.
-          Use a spreadsheet to collect data on the type of calls received
-          Report monthly and analyze trends
-          Potential Travel required
-          Needs good communication skills
-          User base for the system is 450 core users
-          Preferable have some banking experience

Help Desk Service Experience 3+ years
Problem Solving Can generally solve problems/issues without escalation
Deep experience with applications
Outstanding negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills
